Our crazy week

Wow. It has been a little crazy around here. We ended up moving down to Highland. It was crazy becouse we decided to do it and two days later we were moving. I didn't really get a chance to say goodbye so it was wierd. We really felt like the kids needed to get down here for school. It is a really nice area, beautiful, and really wonderful people, it is a little slice of heaven.The kids all started school this week was probably good but also a little sad. It becomes very apparent they really are growing up. Sam going to school was really strange. I was so nervous for her, I remember junior high and it was scary! Well she is having fun and making friends and having fun. Kenz started 6th grade this year and that's crazy too. She thinks it will be good, she likes her teachers and has met a girl named Mckenzie which is fun. Trace is in 4th grade, that also is strange becouse it seriously seriously feels like I was dragging him to kindergarten kicking and screaming. Kaycee started 1st grade and this is another one of those big ajustments. I have always said 1st grade is harder on the kid and the mom than kindergarten. It is hard having her gone all day and she is trying to get use to it to. The babies are always getting big, always learning. Ty almost has his two top teeth which will make four.He likes to sit and whine he doesn't really want to figure out crawling yet he just wants to be picked up. He is really good at holding his bottle and feeding himself treats and crackers where Addi is rolling all over and always trying to crawl but then would way rather you hold her bottle and just likes to open her mouth like a little bird and have you put somthing in it. They are really cute. As the big kids all started school the fleeting thought came to my mind of what life would be like with out the babies it looks like me sitting on the beach with a piñacolata in hand reading a really good blog! Now that's funny. Nah, I will take this crazy life over that anyday!

Sam's first day of junior high..... By Sam

Well I started school yesterday and now the first day of school is over!(Now it's down to buiesness)Today I don't have school today,cuz they give the 7th graders a day alone so the 8th and 9th graders don't pick on the 7th graders!!!
Ok well after first period I had to go grab something from my locker and this girl was there so I thought we must have been locker buddies. I walk up to her and said I think we r locker buddies,she said no cuz I already have a locker buddy. So we walk to the office and they said they would fix that. So I went to a few classes and when I was walking into Spanish they called me to the office they gave me the right locker when I went back to Spanish she said I wasn't in her class so I walked back yo the office and they fixed everything!!! Ps I even locked my locker combo in there and I don't no it!!!
Other than all those things it was really fun hopefully I will still think that on the second time around!!! Well that was my first day!!! I'll keep u posted!!!

All about twinnies

So after our last little Kaycee was born we thought our family was complete. Well we were super wrong. So after long and hard prayer and trying to have a baby we were blessed with two. I now have a huge amount of compassion for anyone who carries double and more than that? I can't even imagine. The babies were born at 36 1/2 weeks on December 26th. Ty weighed 5 lb 12 oz and Addi weighed 6 lb 7 oz. Both did wonderful. We all came home on the 28th. They were both very colicy and niether baby could handle lactose. When Ty was 2 months old he got a form of rsv and was hospitalized for 5 days. That was so hard having them split up. I missed Addi tons and tons. Roger was out of town the whole time to! Huge thanks to our Mom's who made it all work. Anyhow there health is better, Ty still has asthma and they are spoiled rotten so they always have to be held:). They started rolling late, Ty at about 5 1/2 months and Addi at about 6 months. Ty got his first tooth on July 18th and they second a few days later. Addi doesn't have any yet. They both sit up and can move quite a bit but no crawling yet, yah whoooooo! Addi weighs about 22 lbs(ya she's pretty chunky) and Ty weighs about 18. Very fun but more work than you can imagine(unless you have twins or more).

Sam's summer

As most of you no our house is up for sale so our summer has been kinda hectic.But it has been fun,we have been to Idaho there we went to the lake,picked raspberries,went to dinner in montpiller,and walk to the gas station!!!
We have also been swiming. So we have had a pretty fun summer!!!
I start school on the 25 and I will be going to middle school! So hopefully I have a good time. Well thanks to my aunt Christen for making this blog!

Tired of myself

Well the craziest thing happened yesterday. We all got up and did all the normal Monday jobs and then we were going to go run some errands. I got all the kids buckled up and couldn't find my wallet. I started to panick looking everwhere in the car and everywhere in the house. It was afterall just last week that I lost my debt card and drivers license! At this point I can not even stand myself. I am so sick of losing stuff and just being me. Well I then remember the last time having it was at Target on Saturday, of course I called them and of course they don't have it. I was pretty emotional as I got in the car to leave. Well a couple minutes into the ride Trace says "Mom, we really messed up. We forgot to say a prayer." Well I had done alot of begging and pleading in my head but maybe it wasn't enough. I pulled over right there and Trace gave a wonderful prayer. It had only been a few minutes and the phone rang. It was Target! They had found my wallet! It was so amazing. I felt such a warm wonderful feeling as I realized all over again how much Heavenly Father loves us. My wallet was not a big deal to him but it was causing me such heartache that he took that away from me. Such a wonderful thing!
I just don't want our family to ever forget these wonderful faith building experiances.

My first blog

Hello! Well big thanks to my wonderful sister christen who hooked me up in the world of blogging. Life is crazy here at the Goodwin ranch we have six wonderful kids Sam is 12 Kenzee is 11 Trace is 9 Kaycee is 6 and our latest additions are Ty and Addison that are seven months old. The twins have turned our world upside down(mostly in a good way) we truley feel so blessed to have each one of them. It is my hope that everyone in our family will come on this blog and give us a peek into their world. Rog is my main sqeeze who I do love like crazy his loves are his family, his horses, hunting, and fishing to name a few. As for me I am completly absorbed in family life but I am going to try super hard to figure out what else I like alot. Today is Sunday so we went to church and it was so amazing cuz we made it through all three hours with the babies! That is a very rare occasion! We usually have to bale somewhere along the way. If Rog would have had the keys he would have no doupt. I geuss I had the easy baby today. Anyhow after that we came home had a yummy dinner and then Rog and I went to visit our horses, well when we got ther I relized I was super mad at our little one year old horse maverick becouse the day before Trace and his father went to the arena decided it was a good idea to have Trace sit on Maverick (WHAT!!!) and of course the horse goes nuts cuz he is an untrained mustang!!! And after holding on for dear life for as long as he could he goes flying off the back landing right on his back and head and elbows! What a disaster. Anyway I think he is recovering other than some scrapes and bruises. Everyone invoved learned a good lesson. Right? I hope so. Well I better get started on the bed time ritual!
